Disappointment in Miami
USA loosing its 2nd WBC in a row (same score, same outcome)
Tuesday, March 17, was a frightening day for Team USA in the World Baseball Classic, as Venezuela held the so-called Team USA firepower to just three hits. Hats off to the Venezuelans, but the US was facing a starting pitcher who had a 5 ERA in his last MLB season, and he only gave up one hit over 5 innings. The Venezuelans just wanted the championship more. They showed more fight and definitely more heart, but Team USA’s bench looked like people attending a funeral. Sad and down faces everywhere, they all wanted the same thing, but they couldn’t get on the same page. It was a long run for Team USA, but again, hats off to the fearless Team Venezuela.
