The Dodgers got Bellinger and Muncy Back!
And the Fans went Wild ... too Wild!
Today on June 26th I went to a Dodgers versus Cubs game. The final score was 2 to 3, and the Dodgers won. Julio Urías was pitching for the Dodgers. One person on the Dodgers hit a homerun. He was Cody Bellinger, and he hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. I missed seeing it because people in front of us were fighting.
It all started when a Cubs player threw a ball to a Dodgers fan in the stands. A Dodger fan next to him stole the ball that he caught, and threw it back onto the field. He threw it back because there is a tradition where you have to throw it back if the away team throws it to a fan of the home team. And the guy who threw it back got kicked out by security. There was a lot of fighting and a lot of people got kicked out of the game. There was a lot of punching too. One person ended up in the hospital.
And that’s why we had to go home right before Bellinger hit his game winning home run. I heard the crowd go wild when I was heading to our car.
